1. What this page covers

Cookies are small files, and local storage is a similar browser-based mechanism, that a website can use to remember information on your device between visits. This page lists everything ClubPlay actually uses today, kept short on purpose: we don't use anywhere near the full range of tracking technology many sites do.

2. What we actually use

• Age-verification flag (strictly necessary): a single value saved to your browser's local storage confirming you've passed our 18+ check, so you're not asked again on your next visit. It contains no personal information, is never transmitted to our servers, and is set the moment you confirm your age, no consent banner is needed for this, it's exempt as strictly necessary to the service you've asked for.
• Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights (performance, cookieless): these measure aggregate traffic and page-load performance without setting a cookie or building an individual profile of you. They don't track you across other websites.

3. What we don't use

ClubPlay currently sets no advertising or targeting cookies, no third-party ad-network cookies, and no cross-site tracking technology of any kind. We don't run a cookie-based personalisation or retargeting system. If that ever changes, we'll add a proper consent mechanism before any such technology is switched on, and update this page to describe it specifically, not fold it in quietly.

4. Managing cookies and local storage

Because ClubPlay doesn't currently use anything beyond the strictly-necessary flag above, there's no in-site cookie preference centre to manage. You can still control or clear local storage and cookies at any time through your own browser's settings, if you clear the age-verification flag, you'll simply see the 18+ check again on your next visit.

5. Changes to this policy

We'll update this page, and the date at the top, whenever what we actually use changes, including if we ever add analytics or advertising technology that requires your consent.
