Affiliate Disclosure
A plain statement of how ClubPlay is funded and what that means for you. Effective and last updated 29 September 2026.
1. Our publishing business
ClubPlay publishes reviews, ratings, comparisons and general information about licensed South African bookmakers. We're a publisher, not a bookmaker, we don't accept bets, hold player funds, operate gambling accounts, or pay winnings.
2. How ClubPlay may earn revenue
ClubPlay is free to use, and stays free through commercial relationships with some of the operators listed. We may earn payment when you follow a link and complete a qualifying action with a partner, such as registering an account, or we may receive a fee for advertising or a sponsored placement.

Where a revenue-share arrangement applies, our commission can be linked to an operator's revenue from referred customers. This is a commercial conflict of interest worth being upfront about, it doesn't mean ClubPlay holds your stake or controls the operator's services in any way.
3. What a referral link does
A referral link identifies ClubPlay as the referring site, so a network or operator can determine whether commission is payable. Where a link uses a tracking identifier, our Privacy Policy explains the data involved. Reading this page or clicking a link doesn't give blanket consent to unrelated tracking or marketing.
4. Editorial independence
An operator's payment doesn't buy a better score, a featured placement, or an “Editor's Choice” badge. Commercial relationships can affect whether an operator's “Visit Site” link is live and whether it appears in a sponsored slot, never its rating or ranking, see our Editorial Policy for how listings are actually researched and scored. A term like “best” or “featured” on ClubPlay reflects that methodology, not commercial payment.
5. Advertising labels
Sponsored content and banners are labelled “Advertisement” where they appear, so you can tell paid placement apart from editorial content at a glance, not just in this disclosure.
6. Costs, prices and offers
We don't charge readers anything to use ClubPlay or to follow a link. Whether or not a link is a tracked affiliate link, the account terms, odds and bonuses you get from a bookmaker are exactly the same as if you'd gone to them directly, nothing about the price or experience changes because you came from ClubPlay. We don't promise a link always gets you the best available offer, terms vary by operator and can change without notice, always confirm the current offer on the operator's own site.
7. Third-party services and losses
A commercial relationship doesn't make ClubPlay a party to your bet or a guarantor of any operator. We can't approve withdrawals, alter settlement decisions, or require an operator to pay you. ClubPlay doesn't reimburse betting losses or compensate you because a rating or review didn't lead to a good outcome, see our Terms of Use for the applicable liability terms.
8. Age and responsible participation
Our gambling-related content is for adults aged 18 or older. A link on ClubPlay doesn't override an operator's age check, self-exclusion, or eligibility rules. Betting involves a real risk of losing money, see our Responsible Gambling page if that's ever a concern for you or someone you know.
